Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was found guilty of four criminal charges in Decatur, Ala., on Thursday, including assault in the third degree, reckless endangerment, menacing in the state of Alabama and wrongful discharge of a firearm, according to the Decatur Municipal Court clerk.

McClain must serve 45 days in prison for each charge, totaling 180 consecutive days. McClain must also pay a fine of $500, in addition to court costs.

The video showed McClain and his co-defendant, Jarodiaus Willingham, attacking Rishard Tapscott, the alleged victim in the case. Willingham is shown kicking and punching him.

It's a stunning turn of events for a player that looked like a rising star not long ago. McClain will be subject to NFL discipline. Raiders have stood by McClain throughout his ordeal, but clearly must make plans for his absence.

This are very sad news for all the Raider fans because Rolando McClain is one of our best players on defence and now we don't know how many weeks he might get suspended for this incident. Lets just hope that he doesn't get suspended for to long (and no am not trying to justify him), because we know we struggled on run defence, and he at least gave us a little more strenght. One never knows what might happen to him or if his even going to have a job since Reggie McKenzie is getting rid of a lot of players. Lets just hope this is not the case for McClain since his a very good player.
